EXCURSIONS TO DESTINATIONS IN NATURE Marusici lies at the bottom of the mountain Biokovo , which is a nature reserve. On the mountain various stations invite you to take a rest and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The most interesting is probably the one of St. Jure, to whom the mountain is dedicated. Every day, several ferries depart from the cities of Omis, Split and Makarska for trips of one or more days to the islands Brac, Hvar, Korcula and many others along the Adriatic Sea. You can also visit the following national parks:

- The Krka Waterfaals
- Mljet Island

CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL SIGHTS The Cities of : Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir and Sibenik are UNESCO world heritage sites.. You can also visit the cities of Omis, Makarska and Split, which are full of centuries-old history. The town of Medjugorje, which is also near Marusici, is a place of pilgrimage as the Holy Virgin is said to have appeared here.
